We have the most beautiful museum, and I have been to many …. the Director Anne Hall loves what she does and it shows. The two floors of the museum are amazing in the local history and Anne has not missed anything on presentation and detail. The museum is : North Lincoln County Historical Museum and it is located at 4907 SW Highway 101, Lincoln City, Oregon, 97367 Phone: (541) 996-6698 fax: (541) 996-1244 and as an amazing bonus in 2009, ADMISSION IS FREE! this is a MUST SEE when you come to the beautiful seaside community of Lincoln City and yes folks it is located conveniently in what we call the “Taft” area and on the ocean side…
As a kid, I had always wanted to fly kites. Of course my family purchased the little kites that you can buy in any store. After a couple of times of getting hung up and never getting the kite to really fly high, I was bored.
Well, this competition that takes place in Lincoln City Oregon was far from boring. The kites are huge and practically pulling the kite professional off of their feet. And they have to or chose to fly by music, or a theme or a beat etc… watch the video/s and hopefully I captured what I experienced.
I , altho no longer a child, am in awe and want to fly kites like the “big boys” do it. It was so cool. Sorry if the sound may be off a little, the wind naturally was blowing heavy and it was really cold.

If you’ve never visited the Cyber Garden Cafe, you’re missing out. I’m currently using the astoundingly cheap WiFi they offer to post this, and drinking an amazing mango smoothie made by the proprietor. Very rarely can I say that I’ve found a place that’s all around agreeable, but this is one.
Not only is the bathroom clean and well-stocked (what can I say? I’m picky about my public restrooms), but there is a bonified ambiance in this place. With the lilting strains of wind instruments and the well-matched but eclectic decor, I think I might have actually (dare I say) relaxed whilst in here.
I highly recommend choosing to buy a drink, which, if over 4 dollars, will earn you the key to free internet usage during your time here, over the internet alone, which is only 2, if for no other reason than to delight your tastebuds.
A ceiling fan maintains a lovely temperature no matter the weather outside, and tops off the Cyber Garden Cafe as a truly sweet place to spend your internet-addicted time, whether you’re finishing off something for work or merely indulging in a bit of technophilia.
(Added bonus for those without a laptop- Cyber Garden has its own desktop, which can also be used for a tiny fee.)
The really fun part was seeing all of the various breeds represented and how sweet they all were. People were of course in great spirits because of being with their best friends.
Lots of booths and dog activities and this is the video first hand of the beginning into the wonderful event that is especially for our four legged friends on the Oregon Coast in Lincoln City Oregon.
This event and many others are always available and highlighted on our very own official Lincoln City Oregon Visitors Bureau site. They maintain a calendar of events and activities that allow you to plan out a really fun time in Lincoln City Oregon.
